The difference

What Signia does differently

Group conversations are where many people struggle most: voices crossing over each other, speakers moving around the table, no single sound to lock onto. Signia's Integrated Xperience platform tackles that head on, using two separate processors, one for the voices you want and one for everything else, and it can keep track of several moving speakers at the same time and hold them clear.

When Signia might not be the right brand

We will give it to you straight. If your absolute priority is the highest independently tested performance in heavy background noise, Phonak leads there. And if natural, unprocessed sound quality is what matters most to you, Widex is the brand built around that. Signia is often the right answer for group conversations and discreet design, but seeing it next to the alternatives is the whole reason to use an independent fitter.

    A full assessment in your own home, at no cost, with your results explained clearly.

    A recommendation you can trust

    If Signia suits your hearing, your social life and the look you want, we will tell you, and which style. If not, we will point you elsewhere.

    Fitting and set-up

    We program your Signia aids to your hearing and set up the app and assistant so you can adjust things confidently between visits.

    Lifetime aftercare

    Adjustments, cleaning, servicing and help with warranty and repairs, for as long as you wear them.

Common questions about Signia hearing aids

Is Signia the same as Siemens?

Yes, in effect. Signia is the hearing aid brand that grew out of Siemens, carrying on the same engineering heritage under a new name. If you remember Siemens hearing aids, Signia is their modern successor.

Are Signia hearing aids discreet or invisible?

Very. Signia is known for slim, modern designs, and its Silk and Insio models sit down in the ear canal where they are extremely hard to notice, while still being rechargeable. If discretion is your priority, Signia is one of the first brands we would show you.

Are Signia hearing aids good in groups and noisy places?

This is one of Signia's main strengths. Its technology is built specifically to handle several people talking at once and to track speakers as they move, which is exactly the situation most people find hardest.

How much do Signia hearing aids cost?

Can you get Signia hearing aids on the NHS?

The NHS fits from a limited list that does not usually include Signia's latest models. Going private opens up the full range and a fitting built around you, and we will explain the difference honestly.

It is Signia. It often gets typed as Signa or Sygnia, so if you have seen it spelled differently, you are in the right place.
