The difference

What Rexton does differently

Rexton describes Reach Multi-Voice Focus as scanning around the wearer with four focus beams and adapting as speakers move or change. The manufacturer says the environment is analysed 1,000 times per second; that is a manufacturer claim rather than a guarantee of identical benefit for everyone.

BiCore takes a different established approach, processing speech and competing noise separately before bringing them together. Rexton's other clear point of difference is its rugged option for people who want greater resilience without making the misleading promise that a hearing aid is indestructible.

The technology

Rexton technology, levels and connectivity

Reach is the current platform, while 20, 30, 40, 60 and 80 describe increasing performance levels within compatible families and styles.

  • Multi-Voice Focus, designed for moving group conversations
  • Levels 20 to 80, from simpler needs to the fullest complex-listening support
  • LE Audio, MFi and ASHA, on specified products and compatible phones
  • Rechargeable and battery options, including power and custom formats
  • CROS and BiCROS, for suitable single-sided and asymmetric losses

The range we fit

The Rexton range we fit

The range covers very different hearing needs, so we compare the exact Reach or BiCore model rather than treating either name as one product.

Honest advice

When Rexton might not be the right brand

Durability should not outweigh speech performance, comfort or fitting suitability. Another brand may offer a more suitable phone connection, remote microphone, tinnitus programme, custom shape or sound character. We compare those practical differences rather than recommending Reach simply because it is newer.

Rexton questions

Common questions about Rexton hearing aids

Is Rexton Reach better than BiCore?

Reach is newer and adds current conversation and connectivity features. BiCore can still be the better-value fit where its style, power and features match your needs. We compare exact models.

Are Rexton hearing aids waterproof?

Specified products are designed for moisture, dust and everyday durability, but conditions vary by model. Do not treat any hearing aid as safe for swimming unless the exact manufacturer instructions explicitly say so.

Do Rexton hearing aids work with Android and iPhone?

Specified Reach and BiCore products support MFi, ASHA and/or Bluetooth LE Audio. Compatibility depends on the exact aid, phone hardware and operating system, which we check before ordering.

What do Rexton 20, 30, 40, 60 and 80 mean?

They are performance levels. Lower levels target simpler listening needs; 60 and 80 add more support for demanding social environments. The exact differences vary by product family and style.

How much do Rexton hearing aids cost?

Price depends on the Reach or BiCore model, style and technology level. Your written quote identifies the aid or pair, charger, accessories, warranty, fitting, follow-ups and included lifetime aftercare.
